Udug for restaurants and stores

More regulars, without more tables.

Take delivery orders from your neighbourhood on a tablet you already own. Udug brings the customers and the couriers; you keep your menu, your prices and your hours.

Who it's for

Built for the shops on your street.

Independent kitchens and food stores first. If you sell food people want brought to their door, there's a place for you.

Restaurants

Kitchens of every kind

Dine-in, takeout-only or ghost kitchen. Options, sides and spice levels come across as you set them.

Cafés and bakeries

Morning rush, delivered

Coffee, pastries and cakes, with sold-out items taken off the menu in one tap.

Grocery

The weekly shop

Neighbourhood grocers, with substitutions only when the customer agrees.

Convenience stores

Snacks, drinks and everyday basics for the evening and late-night order.

Halal butchers

Cuts and weights as you sell them. Halal shows on your store only when you declare it.

Specialty food

Spice shops, sweets, cheese and the other foods people cross town for.

The tools

Everything to run delivery.

Only what's built and working today.

Send us your menu file, we load it

A spreadsheet is enough: our template, or the CSV your till exports, with photos alongside. We load the items, prices and options, and you check them before anything goes live.

Orders on any tablet you already own

Udug Merchant runs on an iPad, an Android tablet or a Windows computer. A new order rings loudly until someone answers. If nobody does, we text the store, then call it.

Pause or go busy in one tap

Pause new orders for 15, 30 or 60 minutes, or add 10 or 20 minutes to prep times on a busy night. Mark an item sold out from the same screen.

Weekly payouts

Your sales, less the 15% commission, every week: direct deposit or Interac e-Transfer in Canada, Stripe in the United States.

Udug Send for your own customers

Phone and walk-in orders can go out with a Udug courier too. Book the delivery from the same portal, priced before you confirm.

Questions

Selling on Udug, answered.

What does Udug charge?
15% of the pre-tax basket on each order: the food or grocery items, before tax. HST may apply to the commission itself.
Who pays the delivery fee?
The customer. Udug keeps the delivery fee and pays the driver from it, so the delivery fee never comes out of your share.
When am I paid?
Weekly. In Canada by direct deposit or Interac e-Transfer, and in the United States through Stripe.
Do I need a tablet or special hardware?
No. The merchant portal runs in any up-to-date web browser on the computer, tablet or phone you already have.

You do. Your menu, your prices and your opening hours are yours to change at any time.
